Mountain Lodge Living Room

His and hers styles of “Tuscan” and “Ralph Lauren” were incorporated in this room anchored by a hand-knotted New Zealand wool rug with a low pile in tan, dark brown, burnt orange, olive, and ivory. A top-grain leather sectional was used that offered power recline on all sears, and pull-down trays for working and eating in the room.

Mountain Lodge Living Room

Creating a family and dog-friendly family room for a couple that rescues Cavalier Spaniels. They wanted a space where they didn’t have to worry about the dogs snuggling next tot hem on the sofa or chairs. They wanted a high grade of leather on the sofa and chairs, so it would wear naturally. They also wanted the ability to recline, work, and eat in the room. She loved Tuscan design and he preferred more of a southwest meets Ralph Lauren style.

To anchor the room, a hand-knotted 10’x14′ New Zealand wool rug with low pile in tan, dark brown, burnt orange, olive, and ivory was used; along with two runners for the main walkways behind the sectional. From there, a top-grain chocolate brown leather sectional was used that offered power recline on all sears, and pull-down trays for working and eating in the room. Two saddle pony brown leather power reclining chairs are place in front of the large window wall, and two “chateau” chairs in a large ikat pattern helped to blend in a touch of southwest in her preferred style of chair flank the stone fireplace. A Tuscan wind sideboard with metal grillwork is featured under a special painted facing the window wall. The sideboard is flanked with two amber glass-cut tall lamps for additional color and texture in the room. A round coffee table, two 3-tier library tables and a square lamp table with planked wood tops in caramel with ebony bases all included amble service and storage for the seating in the room. Soft branches and natural elements of the accessories help bring the outdoors in and further connect the two styles together for this couple.
