Lenoir City is a city located in Loudon County, Tennessee with a population of approximately 8,642. The city is included in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area in the state’s eastern region, and is situated along the Tennessee River just southwest of Knoxville. It was discovered that Native Americans were living in the Lenoir City area for thousands of years before the first European settlers arrived on the land.

The Lenoir City Rotary Club exemplifies “Service Above Self” by providing community service through educational support, vocational mentoring and youth leadership programs. Established in 1924, the club is one of the oldest and most respected service organizations in Tennessee that conducts fundraising projects to support local and international causes.

Lenoir City Schools – The Lenoir City School System is dedicated to creating a positive educational environment of mutual respect where each student is able to discover opportunities to develop necessary skills and attitudes to perform at a level of personal excellence in the twenty-first century. Organized in 1907, the system consists of an elementary school, grades Pre-K-3, an intermediate/middle school, grades 4-8, a high school, grades 9-12, and a Central Office.

Lenoir City Arts & Crafts Festival – The Lenoir City Arts & Crafts Festival is an annual fundraiser to help in areas such as education, recreation, hunger and assistance for the needy. In the first full weekend of June, club members work together with local businesses and government entities along with more than 240 crafters to organize the event.
