I can’t tell you how much my family and I are enjoying our new family room!! The design is absolutely exquisite. I have never seen anything so beautiful. You always exceed my expectations. Sometimes you don’t realize how bad something is until you change it and see the difference! My husband was completely impressed and gave his absolute seal of approval. “We decided to use Sandy because she was highly recommended and after meeting her and Rachael and checking out their prior projects, we felt very comfortable with them and knew that they would do a great job. Another consideration was that they brought everything to us and made the entire process easy.
They measured the rooms we wanted to furnish which included the foyer, the dining room, the open main living/kitchen/dining area, and the guest bedroom. They designed different furniture layouts to choose from (with a computer layout of the room). For the main open living area, they brought pictures of furniture to choose from, fabric samples, and area rug choices. They also helped us with window coverings, draperies and custom bedding for the master bedroom and guest bedroom. And they also incorporated the artwork and things that we wanted to keep in the final design.
When the furniture came in, they provided movers to not only move the new furniture in, but to move the old furniture to different rooms downstairs. They handled everything down to inserting light bulbs in the lamps.
In the end, it was our vision because they listened to what we wanted and presented choices that we made. It was a positive experience from start to finish. We are
happy with every single purchase and the overall look is exactly what we wanted.We highly recommend Sandy and Rachael from Decorating Den Interiors!”

“I needed to change my color scheme when I moved into my new house. I primarily needed help decorating my newly installed built-ins and with area rugs. I have worked with designers before, but I always felt pressured to do what the designer wanted to do. One in particular would not listen to me. I found Sandy Kozar to be a wonderful listener. She utilized the pieces in my home that mean something to me and was willing and able to work them in along with some fresh new pieces to make it all come together in a comfortable and beautiful way. “Sandy at Decorating Den Interiors is a complete professional and I had an outstanding experience. The furniture I received was very high quality and I couldn’t be happier about the design she came up with. Honestly I didn’t give her a lot to go on as far as my likes and dislikes, but I just told her the kind of “feel” or “mood” I wanted. Although its cliché once I saw her design (proposed and implemented) she perfectly translated my obtuse description.
She also offered her expert opinion on the kitchen remodel I was in the process of for no extra charge. I can tell she values her customers as she promptly responds to questions and/or concerns (of which I had a few like paint colors when they went on the walls). “We like working with Sandy for a number of reasons. First, she asks your budget so she knows what she can work with and there won’t be any big surprises. If she does press the budget envelop a little, it’s often a good idea and gives us something to think about.
Sandy is willing to work with things we have such as large furniture pieces, antiques, family heirlooms, and especially our artwork. In fact, she built a whole room around the colors in one piece of artwork in our family room.
When she presents ideas, she often has three different but realistic recommendations. This gives us the feeling that she listened and really worked on our behalf.
Finally, if there is a problem with something delivered, she is all over it to make it right. We’ve done several projects and highly recommend Sandy and her work.”
“I asked Sandy Kozar, an interior designer of Decorating Den to come to my new home and give me suggestions for decorating my living room. Sandy talked to me about what I had that I wanted to keep and the amount I wanted to invest in the project. She listened very carefully to the style and colors I liked and what I wanted to accomplish.Sandy worked very hard to find exactly what I wanted. She came back with the most wonderful ideas, which involved custom fabrics and special orders. She kept me apprised as my living room began to take shape and took care of all the details. Sandy went out of her way to help me with any other areas in my new home from helping me find subcontractors for hanging mirrors to replacing damaged floors.
