Loudon is a town located in the Loudon County, Tennessee with a population of approximately 4,476. It is situated in eastern Tennessee, just southwest of Knoxville on the Tennessee River. It was named after Fort Loudoun, the colonial era fort located several miles to the south in Monroe County. The fort was named for John Campbell who was the 4th Earl of Loudoun and a commander of the all British forces during the French and Indian Wars.

Loudon Parks and Recreation – The Loudon Parks and Recreation offers the facilities for exciting activities that people of all ages can enjoy. The City of Loudon Fire Department provides fire protection that covers 15-square miles within the city limits of Loudon, TN, and serves approximately 5,800 citizens. The City of Loudon Fire Department offers aggressive public fire education and preventative programs such as Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, and Search and Rescue Operations.

The Loudon Lions Club was charted in 1935 by Lions Clubs International to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through the club. The club is comprised of service-minded men and women of all ages who volunteer their time to serve the growing needs of the community and those less fortunate worldwide.
