Sequoyah Hills is a neighborhood located between West Knoxville and the city’s downtown area. The region was originally an agrarian land known as Looney’s Bend before it was more developed in the 1920s. The area is generally hilly, with a 10 to 15-foot bluff rising above the rivershore along most of the neighborhood’s southern edge.
