Modern Farmhouse Office

This returning client needed an office of her own in her new home, but it needed to be multifunctional. A music room, her office, a workout space, and her own reading nook. She wanted to continue her soft color palette, and give it an inviting traditional feeling.

Modern farmhouse furniture brings this multifunctional room together. Serving as a music room, home office, exercise space, and a reading nook, this small space needed maximum usability while remaining visually appealing. The piano stands as the focal point of the room with family photos hung above along a whimsical branch with hanging birds. The ample closet space serves to hide the weights and folding treadmill, with easy access for workout sessions throughout the day. A nearby bookcase holds additional family photos as well as books and office materials below with a comfy accent chair, and quaint quatrefoil top wooden table. Light is provided by a floral ceramic lamp for reading and a black bobbin floor lamp by the desk itself. The desk is built for modern conveniences with hidden wires and lateral files built within for maximum function in a minimal space. The room is brought together with an heirloom rug she has kept for years.
