When arranging accessories, one of my favorite ways to add character to a space is to create “little moments” – an area where the accessories play off of each other in a way that inspires a story or emotion. One example might be a tea cup on top of books with a lamp, and a throw blanket across the chair. Another can be seen in the picture above, with a pair of slippers, a faux fur blanket, and the bottle of champagne with glasses on a tray.
During the holidays, I love creating and enjoying these “little moments” even more – the aromas of spice and vanilla in my tea, adding the extra layers of blankets and pillows to my winter bedding, and looking forward to time with family and friends.
It’s in these “little moments” that I reflect on everything that has happened this year. I am amazed at all the blessings I’ve had in my business and family life. I’m grateful for all of our wonderful clients, our business relationships, our continued health, our successes, and so much more.
As we move into our thirteenth year in business in 2023, I think about all of the homes we’ve been able to help design over the years. It inspires me to continue helping families love their homes. With designs you can trust, our clients live comfortably in their homes together, sharing and creating their own “little moments.”
